Charity Golf Day | Thursday 19 November, 2009

Acceptance Finance is pleased to present our 2nd annual Charity Golf day in support of Variety, the Children’s Charity. Last year’s inaugural event was a great success, resulting in enough funds being raised to purchase Dynavox communication devices for two severely disabled young boys.

The Keysborough Golf Club is again the fabulous venue for this year’s event. Perfectly positioned within Melbourne’s famous sand belt courses, Keysborough is a demanding and challenging layout set to test professional and club golfers alike.

Become a sponsor

So your golfing prowess is questionable but you’d still like to contribute? Then why not become a sponsor on the day. Your sponsorship will be publicly recognised in all correspondence leading up to the day. Hole sponsors also have the option of having their promotional signage/banners at the sponsored hole, at registration or at dinner.

To register as an individual or a team, or to find out more about sponsorship opportunities, please click here…

Top 10 Tips for Rental Property Management

“A lot of property investors are caught out thinking their Property Manager is doing a terrific job, just because the rent is coming in on time and they never have any maintenance issues from their tenant”.

“The problem is most investors do not know what their Property Manager should be doing

Here are some tips to guide you...

How can you ensure your credit rating?

“Lenders use credit scores to determine who qualifies for a loan, at what interest rate and what credit limits should apply”

Credit scoring is not limited to banks. Other organisations, such as mobile phone companies, insurance companies, employers, landlords and government departments employ the same techniques”.

Investment Property Workshops

So often we are asked by clients...

  • How can I start a property portfolio?
  • How can I grow my property portfolio?
  • Where should I buy?
  • What is a good property investment?
  • What is bad property?
  • Why do some properties perform differently?
  • How do I finance a purchase?
  • What happens after I have purchased?

We have recently been running workshops with Domain Property Advocates, which have been designed for clients who are interested in the investment property market. Specifically, they give clients the opportunity to discuss the difference between good and bad property and property management, with their peers and industry specialists.

The feedback from those who have attended the workshops has been excellent. This has prompted us to run more workshops in the coming months.

Future workshop dates:
Tuesday 20 October, 2009
Tuesday 27 October, 2009
Wednesday 18 November, 2009

For registrations please contact Josephine Schneider | Phone 03 9854 3570

If you are financing via a Hire Purchase and the finance agreement is entered into after 30 June, the Investment Allowance for a "non-small" business is only available at 10%, even where the purchase agreement was entered into prior to 30 June. Where the agreement is a Chattel Mortgage, where the finance company only has a charge over the asset, is entered into after 30 June 2009 and the purchase agreement was entered into prior to 30 June 2009, the 30% rate is still available.
