About Us

The company was originally founded by current director Joe Terlato in 1990.  Initially, the company focused on offering competitive leasing products.  Continued growth in this area and a desire to diversify led to the development of the mortgage side of the business in 1998 which was spearheaded by Daniel Di Conza (CEO).

In 2006, our Financial Planning business (Acceptance Financial Services) was established to provide our clients with the full range of insurance and investment services. Acceptance Finance Brokers (AFB) was developed as a division of Acceptance Finance in 2009. It is principally overseen by Colin McIlfatrick, but with the support of the whole business. AFB was established to give independent Finance Consultants the opportunity to run their businesses under the Acceptance Finance brand as ‘Licencees’.

Acceptance Finance is a privately owned company based in the city fringe suburb of Kew in Melbourne, Victoria, with satellites offices throughout Victoria. The goal of Acceptance Finance is to listen to clients and provide them with the most efficient, cost effective solutions to their financial needs.
