Matthew Baker is a Senior Mortgage Adviser with extensive experience across banking, finance and mortgage broking. Before joining Apt Wealth in 2018, Matt spent more than a decade working in both personal and business banking, providing him with a strong understanding of lending from both the customer and lender perspective.

Holding a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, Matt is committed to providing clear, practical advice and helping clients navigate what can often be a complex lending process. His customer-first approach focuses on understanding each client’s individual circumstances and delivering lending solutions that align with their needs and objectives.

Matt works with clients across Australia and has extensive experience assisting Expats seeking finance for Australian property purchases and investments. He also supports first home buyers, owner occupiers, investors and clients looking to refinance existing lending arrangements.

Based in Geelong and the Surf Coast, and originally from Melbourne, Matt combines his banking background with a personalised approach to help clients make informed decisions about their borrowing needs and move forward with confidence.
